What if a membership plan includes also some additional fees than only the membership fee itself? ...let's say a membership card, shipping & handling fee etc. additional stuff (additional fees can be one time or recurring, selected in settings)

Of course we can include everything in one price, but from business point of view it is much better if we separate these fees. Then it is easier for customers to understand & accept the total price.

Is it possible to include that kind of things in a membership plan?

It is a good idea, but it wouldn't be possible to do it as a recurring separate fee without including it in the membership fee, because what would happen if the user canceled one recurring fee but not the other?

One-time additional fees like setup fee and stuff like that could be handled by setting a trial fee of $20 for the first month, then charging $10 a month after that for the regular fee.

I am banging away at the next major version release, which will allow for bundling multiple 'items' together into one purchase, so you could have the recurring membership AND the $10 one-time setup charge in one order. I expect it to be done by mid-February. I have two other developers who are also collaborating on this.

Maybe I'm missing something

Maybe I'm missing something very obvious here, but just can't figure out how / where to configure "fees" to products. As attached, there's a "fees" -module available and activated, but where to configure?

Abilnet, Sorry about the

Abilnet,

Sorry about the confusion, that module must have been accidentally included in a release. It isn't ready yet. I'm actually reworking the 'Product Overrides' system so that it can better handle things like per-product fees and be more manageable at the same time.

Rules support has improved however, and you can now add 'Fees' to orders using the rule action to Add Adjustment. Maybe that will work for what you need?
