hello,

It looks as though there is no way to LIMIT the number of referrals on each level to make a forced Matrix? (sorry if I'm not seeing it)

will there be any feature like this in the future?

thanks in advance!

When you say 'forced matrix'

When you say 'forced matrix' what do you mean exactly? The affiliates only get referrals up to a certain number, and then the people they refer aren't counted as their referrals? That would be very easy to implement.

yes, that's what I mean...

but I don't see the option to limit the number of people on the levels, I do see how to limit the number of levels...

forced matrix = Everybody recruits to the same matrix (mlm system)

The option isn't there yet, I was just saying it would be an easy feature to add in a future version. What kind of functionality did you have in mind?

I guess something that would be as configurable as your settings for levels and commissions, but just for limiting the number per level!

thanks for considering this for in the future!!

I'll add this to the feature

I'll add this to the feature request list. I am making a lot of new changes to the MS Affiliates Suite module right now, so it may be a while before this makes it in.

paypal and mlm or forced matrixes

as was recently discovered after having spent much time creating a mlm site w/ MS using Paypal, Paypal does NOT allow for mlm or forced matrixes which is very difficult to find on their site (still)

so... will there ever be an Alertpay feature added in the future? should be the real question, then maybe the whole forced matrix thing can be a possibility ...

Twired, If enough people are

Twired,
If enough people are interested in getting AlertPay integrated, I would gladly build the gateway module for it. I spent the last hour looking into how their gateway works, and it seems very similar to PayPal WPS (which is somewhat of a pain to code for, so I imagine AlertPay will be about the same). If anyone else is interested in getting AlertPay integrated, don't hesitate to post.

@twired

Sounds nice, but I'm not too familiar with MLM. Could you please sum up the main business -benefits of 'forced matrix' (and AlertPay) option. Thanks.

MLM multi Level Marketing

MLM multi Level Marketing offers users an extra financial incentive to join because they can earn money from their referrals referrals, down multiple levels!

Forced Matrix = everyone promotes the same mlm matrix and the extra incentive there is to receive spillover from other peoples efforts, not just their downline.

perhaps google "mlm vs forced matrix"

paypal don't allow for it, alertpay does

Alertpay

Reviving an old thread. I am interested in an alertpay module. They have become a very good alternative to paypal and so far I haven't heard that they freeze accounts in the same way paypal does. They also allow for several different types of products that paypal doesn't.

Will it be a lot of work to rewrite the pay to publish API to support alertpay?
