We have quite a few members who subscribe by post - so we set them up a plan manually and MS makes this process very easy.

I have several people on the team who do this task and they sometimes click the wrong plan by mistake. It would be good to have a confirmation screen before the plan was actually set up - it would avoid members getting the wrong welcome email etc.

Weirean, Are you manually

Weirean,
Are you manually adding the membership to the users at the same time you create them as a user, or are you adding the memberships to existing users? What url path are you using?

Weirean, The Drupal standards

Weirean,

The Drupal standards are to use a confirmation form whenever information is being destroyed, cancelled, etc. They aren't really used in connection with creating things, and I feel that adding memberships to a user would fall under this category. The information is all there on the form page, and the user adding the membership is the one who enters it, so I feel like the adding a confirmation form here would be redundant. As such, I'm marking this as By Design.

Sincerely,

Thanks Leighton. I accept

Thanks Leighton.

I accept your position on this except that I would say that the Drupal way is to have a 'Preview' when content is being created by users. I acknowledge that this does not usually apply to admin functions and I guess this falls within that area.
