1. ENHANCEMENT REQUEST:

The admin pages:

- admin/user/ms_memberships
- admin/user/ms_memberships/members

allow searching for a member by user id.

The contrib module RealName is heavily used, including by my site. Modules such as the Private Messages module incorporate RealNames in their search widgets, along with user ids. I would attach a screen shot of this if I could. An illustration, however, is that if I enter "Tom" the widget's select list might show:

- Tom Jones (tjones)
- Tomcat Williams (wilycat21)
- Atom Ant (aa bomber)
- etc.

In other words, it lists each match using the pattern:

- ()

For MS Membership, I strongly prefer being able to search for someone's account using his or her RealName (such as "Bob Newby"), as opposed to using their user id (e.g., "rnewby8932z"). To search by user id requires I first look it up, in which case I might as well consult that user's Membership tab on their account.

So, this will be a very helpful if minor enhancement.

2. ASSOCIATED BUG:

The search widget in question seems to search beyond the scope of users' identifying information. For example, if I enter "Jim", on my site it also turns up:

- Jim Robinson's Workspace (Australia)

This is of course not desirable.
