Hi everyone,
I am searching for a (RECURRING payment) gateway which works like authorize.net – a simple one-click form on our own website where the customer just needs to add his country and can start his membership without being redirected to a payment provider. Like this: https://pro.gigaom.com/?force_ssl=1&coupon#signup-form.
Authorize.net is not supported in Europe/Germany, as you need a US bank account and only have US dollars available. I did some research, and that's the list I came up with. Unfortunately, all the possible options require a redirection to an external payment page.
Authorize.net - Not possible in Europe (US bank acocunt needed)
Ogone - No full features for recurring payments
Paypal Web Payments Pro / Flow - Only supported in US, Canada and UK
Worldpay - Module not functional for recurring payments in Moneyscripts
Clickbank - Possible, but different payment approach (marketplace)
Quickpay - Looking ok, but there’s no information about this company (is it reliable?)
Alertpay - Works, but creates an account for every user (like paypal)
Paypal Web Payments Standard - Works, but the user needs to open an account for recurring payment
Do you have an idea for this? I am really curious why the European market does not have a simple payment solution available. Or is it just that I don't find them?
Hope someone can help me..
Best,
Arndt

I too have found a lack of good payment gateways with support for Europe. I haven't tried it myself, but you could try using CRE Secure. They say they have support for the iDeal payment gateway, which I believe is a European processor. Not sure if iDeal supports Recurring payments through CRE Secure though. Last I heard they only supported Authorize.net for Recurring Payments.
PayPal WPP Direct Checkout may also be a good option for you. Users can pay on your site using a credit card. Multiple currencies are supported, including most EU currencies.
Hope that helps!
As a side note, AlertPay (I think) and PayPal WPS both allow the user to checkout using just a credit card and no account, but it isn't presented to the user by default, and the payment form is still on their site.
Sincerely,
Leighton Whiting
