Is there an incremental content functionality?

Hi,

The module seems cool. I would like to know if it contain anything similar to the amember feature of "incremental plugin"?

This allows administrators to publish content that should be made available to the members certain number of days (weeks or months) after they became a member of the site.

For example, I can have content that has to be made available one week after they joined or two weeks or so...

That would really it a great module.

Thanks for the answers.

I actually have a module I am

I actually have a module I am using on one of my website that does just this (incremental mailing of emails to a user once they have signed up). It is a pretty cool little module, with a backend for it. Is this what you were thinking of (something that emails the user a set of emails at specified times)? Or were you looking for something else?

Hi, Thanks for the quick

Hi,

Thanks for the quick answer.

Actually what I mean is something that allows me to publish content in the site (a node of a certain content type for example) that is visible only after certain fixed time (like for example one, two, three, .... etc.  weeks after the new member has suscribed).

I believe something like what the scheduler module does in drupal, but the scheduler makes the node visible at a certain date. The idea is to make it visible after for example one week from the user's registration.

Because each user has a different registration date, then the scheduler module does not work for this case.

With this feature enabled, I would certainly go for your module and leave the amember one, which allows me to do this, but yes... it is pretty ugly and I prefer something that is more integrated within drupal itself. Your solution looks nearly what Im looking for.

Alex.

I think what you need is not

I think what you need is not something that 'publishes' content after a certain amount of time, but rather something that presents content to a user after a certain amount of time. Using the publish terminology is a bit confusing because Drupal uses this terminology in a different way. This is a bit outside the scope of this module, but I can see how it could be done. However it would take a big chunk of my time to build it, so I'm not sure if it would be worth it or not, since I am currently working to improve the other modules and add a new Paypal Files module. If anyone else is interested in this kind of functionality, let me know here and if the demand is there, I will make it.

Sincerely,
Leighton

Reading My Mind

I literally JUST posted a request for this exact feature!

It would make this module a no brainer for me to buy and I would recommend it to every one of the other internet marketers I know if it worked well. The module isn't exactly fully useful to me unless I can find some way to allow access to certain posts for certain users after X date. An email that goes out to the user to let them know that a new piece of content is available would be perfect. If you add this I'll be an advocate, provided it works well, of course :)

Incremental

Me too im waiting this for a long time or maybe a drupal alternative if anyone know.
I want to make a website set and forget with 12 months of content, every month a new content (node) will be released but if a new member join on the site he will start with the first month....i think you get the idea.
Anyone know how this can be done, maybe is any plugin on drupal that we dont find it yet?

It is in the Bonus Pack right

It is in the Bonus Pack right now, but still needs more testing. I haven't had much time to test it myself. I have a few new features planned for it as well.
