Hi Leighton,
I wish to clarify a few issues here.
1) If I put check for "recurring" and 1 for "Subscription Number of Payment", then could the subscriber cancel the plan and demand for a refund? I have tried it in sandbox but unable to get a refund.
2) For every refund, will the system recalculate and deduct the commission that given to the affiliate since the sale is not made?
3) If we uncheck the "Show cancel subscription link in user account", then could the admin cancel on behalf of the subscribers, so that the refund is back to the subscribers, the commission is deducted from the affiliate and everyting back to the past as if nothing had happaned?
Thanks.

Dennis,
1) The user can always cancel a subscription before the term has ended, even if there is only 1 payment scheduled. When it comes to refunds, users cannot demand refunds, but they CAN request them, and you can certainly provide them with a refund if you wish. The role is not granted in Paypal Subscriptions until the payment is marked as Completed, meaning you already have the money in your account.
2) I will build this functionality into the next version of Paypal Affiliates.
3) The admin can cancel a subscription for a user through his Paypal account (the one that is receiving payments). If you wish to offer a refund, you would have to do so through Paypal as well: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/Marketing/bizui/SendRefund...
Sincerely,
Leighton Whiting
