Hi,

I created a Membership Plan and also a clickbank product that should be associated with this membership plan. I did that by inserting the ID number of the membership plan on the page when I create the clickbank product.

When I try to buy from the application, I see the product, then click on it and it appears this message:

"Choose Payment Gateway
There are no payment gateways enabled."

But the clickbank gateway has been enabled. What is going wrong inside it?

Thanks in advance for the answers.

Abarrios,
ClickBank Integration is not a traditional Gateway like the others, so it won't work like the others. You cannot initiate a payment with it from your site; it only works the other way. Users have to buy your product through ClickBank, not your site. Because of how ClickBank works, there is no way to automatically redirect the user to ClickBank AND store the User Registration.

So you will need to make a link on your site to the ClickBank product page and tell people to purchase that if they want membership. It won't work with your Drupal Registration form like the other gateways will. This is one of the reasons that I was reluctant to offer ClickBank support, because it is only a 'one-way' service.

What I suggest is using PayPal WPS or some other gateway to let users who come to your site signup through your site, and also provide the ClickBank integration to let users who come to your ClickBank product also buy membership.

Hi Leighton: Thanks for the

Hi Leighton:

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I understand this. I just wanted to know how was the designed flow so that I can do it. I thought once they selected the product in the registration process then it will redirect to the product page, but seems it should be redirected before by placing a link to the clickbank product page for users to make the payment.

Ok, good. How do you recommend to do the membership? Should I install Logintoboggan and allow users to log in to the system using their email address instead of account name due to the fact that it is not possible for them to insert their account name information in the clickbank product page? Any problems if I install Logintoboggan?

On a side question, is there an email being sent from the system to the new buyers with their user information after they have payed their membership?

Thanks,

Abarrios,
ClickBank Integration listens for when users purchase the clickbank product, and then checks to see if the customer already has an account on your site (if the email address is used already) and if so adds the membership to that account. if the customer doesn't have an account yet, then ClickBank Integration creates an account for that user, sends them the account details, and then adds the membership to that account. They are sent emails when they membership is added to the account as well.

If you don't want to use another payment gateway but want to enforce paid registration, then I suggest disabling user registration and instead of a Register page, just have a page with links to your ClickBank product(s) that sell the membership.

Hopefully that makes sense.

To recap, when a customer purchases the ClickBank product, they are automatically granted the membership that is linked to that product.

ClickBank Integration is meant to provide a way to market your membership on ClickBank and provide a route for ClickBank customers to be automatically granted membership on your site.

Sincerely,
Leighton Whiting
