I just purchased this module, and seem to be having some difficulty understanding the best way to implement this.
So far, I've setup a file to be downloaded. I've also got the membership module.
What I'd like to do is allow both registered and unregistered users purchase an eBook. If they are unregistered, they would register during the process. If they are already registered, they would purchase while logged in. When the purchase occurs, the user would then also get a certain role (ie: ebook purchaser) assigned to their account.
Do you know of the best way to do this?
Also, I've got the file download setup, but when I'm unregistered and access the purchase URL (ie: http://domain.com/file/purchase/1 ), I get an access denied. When I do it while logged in, it looks to work fine.
Finally, are there any tutorials or instructions available?

When an unregistered user goes to a /file/purchase link, it should take them to the checkout page where they can register and purchase the file at the same time. Can you check your Permissions to make sure that the anonymous users are able to purchase files?
