Hey Leighton,
I upgraded to the latest version a couple of days ago, and ever since, I've been getting unusual membership cancellation letters to my admin inbox.

All the emails have the subject: "Membership Cancelled: TestPaypal from Trial Premium Membership"

And body: "A membership has been cancelled. User: TestPaypal Name:
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Membership Plan: Trial Premium Membership
Date: Fri, 2010-06-18 21:51" (where the XXXXXX's are the Paypal name of the person, and the date is always different as well).

No actual cancellations take place when these letters are sent, so it's a bit weird. Do you know what this is?
Best,
Tom

Tom, These should only be

Tom,
These should only be sent when PayPal sends either a subscr_cancel IPN or a subscr_failed IPN. Do you have debug mode on? If so, can you see which one it is?

Yeah, but the last such

Yeah, but the last such letter came on the 20th, and the logs don't date back that long...

The thing is that all the letters have the user TestPaypal, and there is no such user. How can that be?

Tom, It is probably a Sandbox

Tom,
It is probably a Sandbox user that you used for testing. Maybe they were just now cancelled?

Nope, didn't use any sandbox

Nope, didn't use any sandbox testing when I converted to your modules from LM PayPal.

But I think I sort of have it figured out. I got 3 more of these TestPayPal user cancellations yesterday, and 2 of them were LM PayPal imported users cancellations. But the MS module still doesn't act on the LM PayPal cancellations despite this.

Can't figure out the third one though, maybe its an EOT event?

Tom
