Hi Leighton,

I have the enforce single membership option checked, but someone managed to subscribe to 2 memberships yesterday, so he has 2 active memberships now. I guess this is a bug, not a big one, but if you have time, maybe you could fix this for the next release.

Thanks,
Tom

One more thing, I just noticed that the first purchase was not in the MS memberships table, only the second one. But before I noticed this, I cancelled the users second subscription, so now he basically doesn't have a live membership in MS, only at PayPal. Can I do anything to fix this?

Tom,
It would seem the underlying problem is not with the Enforce Single Membership, it would be that the first time he paid, a membership wasn't created successfully. To debug this, I'd need to look at your logs. Can you email me your drupal site and admin info so I can take a look? Also, what day was the first attempt?

You can manually add the membership for the user, but there is no way to link it to PayPal's IPN. You'll just have to keep an eye out for if he cancels it, and cancel the membership manually.

I see, that would explain why he subscribed for the second time 10 minutes after the first one. This hasn't happened before, so the server might have been acting up and not received the first IPN I guess. Can't find it in the logs anymore, but thanks for the explanation.
Best,
Tom
