I've had 2 people pay to join but they were not added to the DB. I've had to disable the module in the meantime so I wouldn't have any more complaints through PayPal.

Site uses Content Profile on user registrations and CCK as content profile.
Not sure why MS is not compatible with this site, it works fine on another site that I've setup with MS.

(note UbertCart was not installed at all during these membership purchase attempts and is now completely disabled since I've installed it since)

emails have been sent, awaiting reply

thanks

is cck compatible on user registration pg using content profile?

i'm brainstorming and just realized that although i'm using cck on my other site that works...the cck fields are not on user registration page....those fields are created later after registration w/ content profile which is now fixed and ok to use w/ MS on signup (thanks)..

so.... will I have to do the same thing w/ cck? not use on signup at registration, just have them use name and email, pay, confirm, then create their profile w/ cck?

Twired, I have added some new

Twired,
I have added some new Content Profile integration functionality in the latest version, which allows your users to sign up while filling out a content profile on the registration page AND paying during registration (previously this was impossible due to the way that Content Profile works). What version of Membership Suite and MS Core are you using? This seems like it is a problem with Membership Suite, not Affiliates Suite, which is why I ask.

Also, do you see any errors in your logs related to Membership Suite or Affiliates Suite or Content Profile, or anything else that may be pertinent?

I understand the updates to MS w/ regards to content profile and from my other site it definitely works :)

But what about CCK, is it compatible w/ MS on user registration signups, having the user able to create profile w/ CCK fields using them as content profile during registration?

Thanks

Twired, One thing I can see

Twired,
One thing I can see right away is that your MS Core is version 1.3, when the latest version is 1.10. I suggest updating all of your modules to the latest versions (just download the latest version of Membership Suite, which includes all of the latest payment gateway modules and MS Core modules). Once you upload them, be sure to run update.php

CCK should work just fine when used as a Content Profile. However, I haven't tested all of them, and it is possible that some may have problems, like uploading files and similar things to that. Then again, it may work. I don't personally use Content Profile so I haven't had much time to test it.

let me know if I'm missing something or if maybe you saw the #3 from the affiliate module right beneath it?

Site does not allow for uploading, just simple text and basic html.

Twired, It's the MS Core

Twired,
It's the MS Core module I'm concerned about. I saw you had version 1.3 of MS Core, when the latest version if 1.10 or something. That is probably the cause of the errors you are facing. It contains some very important updates, as well as the gateways which have received updates as well.
