Turns out that when a user tries to access the renew membership link in their renewal email it results in a "page not found" error if they are not logged in. Shouldn't it result in a "access denied" message instead?

This is fixed in the dev version, and will be included in the next version release. What happens now is if the user is not logged in, they are taken to the user login page, and then they are redirected to the renew page once they have logged in.

I am hoping to release the new version this week, but if you want the dev version now, send me an email at support@moneyscripts.net and I'll send you the dev version.
As for LoginToboggan, which feature do you have in mind when asking about compatibility?
Sincerely,
Leighton Whiting
In that sense, then no, because now instead of showing an access denied error (403) it simply redirects them to the login page, and then will redirect them to the proper page. So it doesn't need the logintoboggan functionality to do what it needs to do.
Sincerely,
Leighton Whiting

I have had that issue as well. I think it should take them directly to the login and then to the renewal automatically once they've entered the username and password. The least amount of steps that is necessary will increase the renewal numbers.
