Hi, I just purchased your membership and affiliate suites, they are both great modules. I am currently testing them on my site and I just have a few questions for you.

I am using Paypal website payments standard as my gateway, with the recurring payments feature enabled with Paypal. So here are my questions:

If a member is not a member of Paypal, signs up to have his credit card charged monthly, and his card suddenly gets declined, will Paypal notify them? Or does Paypal notify my site? How is that handled? Will his membership on my site get automatically cancelled? Or will he continue to have membership until he hits the cancel link himself?

And related to the above question, say an affiliate referred the member above. When his credit card gets declined and his membership fee is not collected for the month, will the affiliate suite know not to calculate commission for that month until the member pays?

So I was testing the affiliate software, sent a referral link email, then clicked on the same link 5 times. In the count of unique clicks, it counted 5. Is that right or should it only count it as 1? Also after the link gets clicked on, if I go to my affiliates tab, then the Unique Click Counts tab, it comes up with a white screen.

That's all my questions for now. Thanks for the great modules!

PayPal tries again 3 times to charge the card (this may be configurable in your account). Once their last retry fails, PayPal cancels the billing and sends the cancel notice to your site, which acts on it and cancels the membership or product.

And related to the above question, say an affiliate referred the member above. When his credit card gets declined and his membership fee is not collected for the month, will the affiliate suite know not to calculate commission for that month until the member pays?

Affiliates Suite only adds commission once a payment is made, so since no payment is made, no commission will be added.

Yes, it counts each time a link is used. Which version of Affiliates Suite are you using so I can try to reproduce this?

Thanks!

Hi Leighton, thanks for your reply :)

I'm using the latest versions of all your software, Affiliates Suite 7.x-4.0.

But my Drupal installation is version 7.2

Update

I installed your new MS core module yesterday.  Not sure if it makes a difference, but now, instead of a white screen, I get this error:

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in /sites/all/modules/ms_affiliates/ms_affiliates.module on line 3113

Thanks for looking into it :)
