Hi Leighton,
I have added a free download to my site and given it a zero price. However, when I click on it it is taking me to the PayPal checkout. Is it possible to have a free download where users can download the file directly without going through PayPal?
I am using MS Core 7.x-2.1 and File Downloads Suite 7.x-3.1.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I was thinking the same thing, we can just place a link to the file and that will solve the problem. Though, it would be nice to have it as a feature as well.

Support for free downloads has been added to the 6 and 7 branches.

File Downloads Suite doesn't currently have that feature. Membership Suite and Pay to Publish do. I just figured that if anyone wants to give free files, they can just place a link to them. I'll mark this as a feature request and see if I can get it added in to the 7.x branch.
