When a user purchases a file download, then I receive a notification on my public email address. A message that says "File Purchased by...".

If I understood it correctly then this notification should go to the admin's email address. But in my case it does not go to the admin's address. It goes to my public email address. I need to stop this because I have to setup an autoresponder on this address.

I can't find the place anymore where I entered my public email address into the modules configuration and where I could change it.

I tried to stop the notification by visiting

/admin/moneyscripts/ms_files

and wiping out the email text following the hint: "Leave blank to not send an email". But this does not work for me because those fields are mandatory, even for user 1. I cannot change them to blank.

Any ideas on how to get control over the notifications?

Michael, The emails are sent

Michael,

The emails are sent to the email address defined in the Site Email setting in the Site Configuration -> Site Information page.

I've fixed the fields so they are no longer required. It will be in the dev version later today.

Awesome. You are the best!

I'm so sorry that pretty soon I will have to report a new bug. This time it will be about coupons, which are ignoring the fact that they are restricted to certain file downloads.
