Today the new generation of modules were all launched. This includes MS Core 2.0 (which has the most changes), Membership Suite 7, Pay to Publish 5, Affiliates Suite 4, and File Downloads Suite 2. All new changes will be made against these new branches. The old branches will no longer receive any new features.

There is an update path and it is all automated, so you just need to download the latest module and make upload it to the regular spot, and make sure to run update.php, and it will be updated automatically.

These changes pave the way for many more changes in the future, because of the more flexible API.

Another big change is License Keys. MS Core now has license keys, which are entered in the MS Core Settings page. The other software no longer has their own license keys. Instead, they will all use the same MS Core keys which you already entered. So this means that you only need to keep track of one pair of keys, and only enter them one time per site. This makes it much easier to keep track of.

The last big change is the Bonus Pack lost some modules. The Affiliate Ads and Affiliate Coupons modules have been moved to be a part of the Affiliates Suite module. And next week, the MS Nodes module will become the MS Pay Per View module. It has been completely rebuilt for Drupal 7 and has lots of new features!

Anyone who has a Bonus Pack license will be automatically given a MS PPV license as well. And there is a new module that will be shortly introduced: MS WebHost Manager, which allows selling hosting plans with WHM.
