Built by PureWebMedia, the GEAN is an online Global Education Agent Network website, designed to offer valuable resources to educational providers and 'agents' involved in the transferal of international students from one country to another.

The site offers two types of memberships: free and paid, with each one allowing various levels of access to the user. The challenge was to provide a premium level membership at the time of registration. The common e-commerce approach for a Drupal 6 site is to use Ubercart, but this requires a user to first register and then choose a product, which in this case would be a membership. The only means at the time to initiate a payment before a user could register was by using MoneyScripts.
